Sexism against women is found in our modern society at different levels, some more evident than others, but still at a large scale. The truth — what concerns us the most — is that a lot of times people no longer recognize acts of sexism, given their recurrence in our daily lives and society's systematic compliance.
To attract attention to this thematic, we developed an interactive narrative/game, using Stencyl, that focuses in the stereotypes of female roles in Movies, Games and other Media.

Concept
After watching the series Tropes vs Women by Anita Sarkeesian on her youtube channel Feminist Frequency, and given the opportunity of working around the Cybertext theme, we decided to create this kind of game/narrative to illustrate those concepts along with our own ideas.
Levels
Each one of the six scenes is associated to one feminine trope, and the action taking place is determined by the gender being played.
MANIC PIXIE DREAM GIRL
THE SMURFETTE SYNDROME
WOMEN IN REFRIGERATORS
MYSTICAL PREGNANCY
EVIL DEMON SEDUCTRESS
DAMSEL IN DISTRESS
Characters
There is only one playable male character and 6 different female characters based on common Tropes. Simple animations, like walking and running, were created for each character depending on their actions.
Ending
Most of the times there isn’t a winning state if you are playing as a girl. Their options are always either useless or do not work at all. This game, which isn't really a game, also doesn’t have an ending. Instead it is meant to be a loop, where the gamer should play at least once as each sex in order to feel the differences and extract the meaning behind them.
